WOYWW - last one in 2025!

 Good morning all!

I hope you all enjoyed a happy and peaceful Christmas.

Ours was a quiet one but lovely nevertheless.

Really this week has flown by and now we are looking forward to the New Year.  This week I have been pottering in my sewing room sorting a putting things away....

Some of these went to the hospital and the rest are waiting to go to our local cancer charity craft fair.

This one went in Ben's stocking.  I've made him a chocolate orange cover each year. They prove very popular.

We have been working on this jigsaw...

A bit tricky but fun.

Lastly, I will share my attempt at cake decorating....

It looked so simple to do this little wreath in wet icing when I looked it up on YouTube. Of course it was much trickier but the cake is delicious so that's all that will matter to my friends and family.😃

Best wishes to you all for the New Year.
Special love to Neet. We are all hoping you are comfy and well cared for, presumably still in hospital.
x x Jo 🌈

So pleased you had a lovely family Christmas Jo, your cake was brilliant! I never ice mine as we’re not keen on icing or marzipan but the cake is boozy enough so that’s ok lol! The knitted Santa choc orange cover was brilliant, such a character! I’m glad you liked the cardi pattern enough to order some yarn, happy to be your enabler!!
Thanks for all the fun and friendship over the past year, long may it continue xx
Happy New Year, may 2026 be happy, healthy and peaceful

Your dolls and bears will be so welcome at the hospital and to sell for the charity. I love Ben’s Santa chocolate orange cover. Your cake decorating is beautiful though I appreciate it took a lot of work.
Wishing you a happy and healthy new year,

Happy New Year to you Jo.
Puzzles seem to have taken over our house at the moment and we have a very big stack to work our way through. Good job hubby enjoys doing them.
Your cake looks fabulous with the decorating on the top and a delicious cake underneath. Yummy!
