I call them draught excluders others say draught stopper and some even spell it draft!
Whatever it is - it is a handy item for helping to keep out the cold!
This one is extra wide and made for a special friend's Nan. It is about 114cms - I usually make them about 90cm. It is tailor-made to fit her doorway and to match with her carpet and curtains.
I hope she likes it. I had fun choosing buttons and hand embroidering the decoration.
If you want to see others that we have made - there is a gorgeous black and shades of grey one in our blog shop...

The weather man says it's getting colder Jo so these should fly off the shelves :-)

These are seriously stylish Jo! I'm sure they'll sell really well too.
Getting ready for the deccies to come down today - another Christmas over :(

Love draught excluders there Jo. I remember making those back in the days of being a newly wed, but got fed up of Hubby forgetting to put it back and when he did he used his boot! I then thought it clever to use eyelets and attach it to the door, until our dog took a disliking! Give up and make curtains instead!
Happy Friday

Beautiful, I'm sure they will be popular.

I remember making one of these in the shape of a long sausage dog for my parents back on the late 60's. Probably still have the pattern stashed away somewhere! These are seriously stylish. hugs Mrs A.
They're all gorgeous Jo :-)
I've solved my problem by downloading Google Chrome if you'd like to see my Anne x

Wow there all so gorgeous, I love all the embellishments too, I bet these will sell really fast :-) Hugs Kerry xxx
These draught excluders are far too beautiful to be put on my floors, which are often dirty and dog-haired at this time of year.
Happy New Year, Twiglet.
