Just a little snap of Ben in his new bobble hat.
My friend in Yorkshire knits them and she wanted a photo or two for her facebook page - Bobble and Squeak. So this was Ben wearing his "Squeak". It's a really soft, cosy, little hat which really suits him.
Check out Bobble and Squeak if you want to know more.
Look at those squidgy little fingers - I wonder what he is thinking?
Have a great weekend.
Join in with Annie's Friday smiles.
Thanks for calling - I will try and get round to visiting but seem to be slowed down by all the sifting sorting and packing!!

That hat is so gorgeous and Ben looks really cute in it.
Must tell you that in Germany, last year, it was the rage for knitting or crocheting similar hats and it took off so much that the main participants making them were boys. Isn't that great?
Have a great weekend,
Jo x
Who knows what goes through their mind. A real sweetie and love the hat. Happy Friday, Angela x
Love Ben's hat Jo, have a wonderful weekend Robyn
That looks really warm and cosy! I love children's hands. My five all had long slim fingers, but my grandson had short, pudgy ones. When I was running a nursery I suddenly ralised how different children's hands are, and when I retired the staff helped every child to make a painted hand print, and they cut them all out and made them into a flower for me! I just love that hat!! Want one for myself!!
Sorry I am late. keep losing the internet with all this fog!!

Here in Canada we call them toques.
Wiki says this"" The fashion is said to have originated with the coureurs de bois, French and Métis fur traders, who kept their woollen nightcaps on for warmth during cold winter days. Such hats are known in other English-speaking countries by a variety of names, including beanie, watch cap or stocking cap; the terms tuque and toque are unique to Canada and northern areas of the United States close to the Canadian border. ""
Most of them usually have a bobble of some sort on top. my neighbour has a beaut with a huge fur bobble on top...I covet that hat. But, today I was trying on Russian fur hats ..with ear flaps...I want one of those too! But, so far ..the only ones i've found are $69 ... hmmmm.... I'll save up my pennies.
Aww! Ben looks super cute in his new bobble hat. Reminds me of my children when they were little ... they were always taking them off and they hated wearing mittens! Elizabeth xx
