WOYWW

I am a bit late posting my WOYWW  today.

This is what my table looked like at 9am this morning - a mess - with a few of my little dumfling cards left out for Maxine to see. We decided to have a crafty day together.
I quickly tidied up so that she could enjoy a day dumfing and free machining her pictures.
This is what it looked like later....
This is Max just adding a few final details to her little viola needle-felted and machine stitched collage.
Don't you just love all those yummy colours of wool rovings?!

Short post today as I am enjoying a day with Max and hope to manage a bit of crafty activity myself.
Have a great day - I will be over to check out your desks later.

x Jo

Your needle felting looks lovely. I like wet felting and I have some lovely wool but haven't made anything in a while. #51

Beautiful viola picture! And yes I do love the colours in those "rovings" - are they what you use for the machine embroidery? #63

I'm so glad you got on here--that collage is so yummy, I want to touch it! Thanks for sharing that. I'm excited today because my quilting foot came in the mail! Woo hoo! I think I'll be able to do a lot more free stitching techniques. Hugs! Sandy Leigh#13

I love that collage - it's so beautiful, and I love those delicate summery colours. The cards are great too, but can I ask what a dumfling is please?
Hope you have a good week and thanks for stopping by my desk.

Those wool rovings really ARE lovely, and your creations are, too. Of course, your friend's piece is quite ambitious, and I'm sure the machine helps. I can't imagine doing all this with a single felting needle. Sometimes it takes the "big guns" to get the job done. Sounds like you both had fun, though.

Happy belated WOYWW from #3.

To quote from the tale about Johnny and his friends, I think your little pictures are fascinating. They are so pretty. The viola collage really appeals to me as pansies and violas are some of my favourite flowers. Thank you for your visit this week. xx Maggie #97

Positively drooling over the colours and textures, Jo!!! It's all gorgeous - love it. When I've made cards for the year, made two bespoke wedding dresses, helped hubby, redesigned a wall hanging for its new space, continued with bags and blankets for Uganda..... you get the picture, and understand why I am not replying to you until Sunday evening!
Enjoy the week.

Hi Jo,

WOW! I love your little dumfling cards. Max's project looks amazing. Will she use it as a scarf or wall hanging?

Hugs,
