Good morning all.
Nice to be back blogging.
I have had a hectic couple of weeks but things are back on track now.
Just a few things to show and tell.
Don't you love my bargain buttons and my yummy piece of soft grey check wool cloth that I found at the car boot sale? Not sure what I will do with them just yet but know I will find a use for them.
Also on my table is that lovely little "dumfed" (needle-felted) picture that Maxine made.
I think it looks good framed up.
We will probably do a craft fair nearer Christmas so hopefully will have a few more finished by then.
Below are two "shades of grey - and turquoise" draught excluders all ready for stuffing.
They seem quite popular at the moment so I am making a few more in a variety of shades.
Maxine made the little hearts for me to stitch on this one - I love the colours.
Well that's it - back to the sewing machine for me.
I hope I can find time to visit a few WOYWW desks this week but I might be a bit late as I am helping Annie with the twins today - another fun filled day for "Aunty Jo-shie" as they call me!
Have a good week.
Thanks for dropping in.
x Jo

We will all be waiting for you Aunty Jo shie. Looking forward to our fun day together :-) it's so good to have you back blogging.
Hugs,

Well, it must have been frantic for you to take time away! Glad that things are calmer for you! I love Maxine's dumped pic, how skilled you all are. Your fabric choices are wonderful, the grey and turquoise together are lovely..very rich.
Hmm what are draught excluders? They look good though :)
The fry felted picture is gorgeous! like a real mini painting. I'm not much of a sewer, just sewing one button on takes me 15 minutes allreeady, so to me the buttons say: "Lots of work!" but I can see on the projects how good they can look on something!

Welcome back...funny how LIFE takes up so much of our creative time!! Love the photos, colors are great. I love the Felted wool, don't have a clue how to do it, guess that's why it intrigues me. Bet that plum jam tastes good, I played catch up too. Have a good week.#81 this week
Love your "draught excluders" - what a complicated name! Car boot sales are worth going to - I snaged 2 lovely stamps at a car boot sale for 50p! You certaily got a bargain!
Sorry I haven't been around! Will be a good girl now...:-)
Lots of hugs,
Cardarian
Oh the needle felted picture is gorgeous! I love how you mounted and framed it too, so lovely. Your car boot finds look super too!!
Happy WOYWW! Kate #54
Lovely stuff to come back with . I'm still only lurking and will be off to see the new babe in a day or so... can't wait!
Love the finds and the fabrics and the shades of grey and turquoise too.
Love Jo x
The draft excluders are real works of art. Thanks for sharing. Happy WOYWW. Caro x #80
You really are the queen of car boot bargains AND draught excluders...both fantastic!! Glad things have calmed down a little though looking after the twins must still keep you on your toes!!
Hugs, LLJ 44 xx
What fabulous finds at your carboot sale and I love your framed felt piece. Enjoy your week. Danie #16
Hi Jo, super finds at the car boot ... sounds like maybe you should just keep that lovely fabric to stroke. In the same way scrappers keep designer paper - for stroking not cutting :)
Maxine is as talented as her mum, the dumfing picture is beautiful and those hearts are delightful. Love the patchwork draught excluders too.
Thanks for sharing. I hope you have a good week and happy WOYWW. Elizabeth x #41
Good to see you back, I kept checking the list to see your name last week! hope you had a good day with the twins. The draught excluders look like they'll be useful soon, it's turned cold here today!
I do love Boot Fairs, you can find some amazing stuff at them. Auctions are turning out to be quite a hunting ground as well! Love the draught excluders, colours are great. Hugs. Pam#37
Hi Jo
you have lots of lovely things to show us today. The framed picture is so pretty and then the draught excluders are really lovely and I am sure you could sell easy at a Christmas fair
Happy WOYWW and wishing you a great week

Like the draught excluders, with the new electricity price hikes coming they will be a good idea.
~Kate~
I snagged button bargains this week, too! It's always fun to find just want you need for a fraction of the cost!
Lovely work on your fabulous draught excluders!
Happy crafting this week!!

Aaah, the good old draught excluder... I have one down to the back door but it is to stop spiders from coming in under it, not draughts... LOL!! Annette #7
I imagine you'll find good use for the buttons and fabric. I have a nice jar of buttons that I've collected (oh, but haven't really used yet).
Happy belated WOYWW
Peace, Kay (19)
Great draught excluders and the tiny heart one is adorable - as is the picture Maxine made. Lovely things to see today Jo.
Hugs, Neet xx
That felted picture is just gorgeous and I love the way you had it framed, lovely.
