WOYWW -

Good morning all - just a bit late in joining Julia's blog hop today.
This really is my table this morning - I will need a tidy up before I can start sewing later!
Lots to snoop though - so click on the picture and have a good look round!

Below are the gorgeous hand dyed felts and yarns we bought from the Shrewsbury Quilters Exhibition - Maryke of Batik n Beads was a delightful lady. She had the most amazing felt hand stitched books and chatted to us for ages before I found out she lives a couple of miles away from me!! I think I shall be popping over to hers to stock up on more lovely threads and fabrics.

Just 3 of the fantastic quilts on display at the Exhibition.

AND - I always have a minibeast or two to share with you each week.......

Look what I met on my way to Annie's for fun day Monday!
Isn't country life wonderful.
I waited about 5 minutes for the entire herd to stroll past me
- they weren't in a hurry as you can see!

Have a happy Wednesday all.
x Jo

I would have no use for it, but I want some of that incredible felt. The colours are so incredible. And I'm glad the cows gave you a chance to sit and relax. We should all do that!

Happy WOYWW

Gorgeous goodies on your desk this week. Had to have a closer look and zoom in - love the little angels.
The felt and threads are beautiful colours, can't wait to see what you do with them. As for the cows, they scare me a little, so big and a bit clumsy, always think they are going to knock my wing-mirrors off.

Love being forced to stop for cows crossing etc...reminds me that taking five minutes here and there is a really good idea! I do love the quilts, specially the bold outlines on the cliff style one..very appealing to me. Your little characters are beautiful....and now angels..it must be a season...!

I love that little house one, it reminds me of a story about 2 old ladies who quilted their homes on their own quilts from in their beds!

Happy WOYWW. What amazing quilts. I have always wanted to do some quilting - lots of wonderful shops and exhibitions around here (especially in Lampeter - have you been?) - but never found the courage to give it a try. Ali x #87

Loving the embroidered girls on the side of the desk. Do you color them in after embroidering them? Great felted pic in the frame. And a beautiful sea painting too. Happy WOYWW! Nan 117

Funny, I expected to see a big onnthedoor windscreen, not a herd of cows. Lovely. I saw a Llama on the road the other day!! Those quilts are adorable. Would love to make one, might just start with the basics first though.

Oh yes indeed, GORGEOUS!

How funny is that herd? We have that happen occasionally, but there is usually a disgruntled farmer not far behind, trying to round them up!

Sorry to be so late getting round again. I had a very busy end to the week and am only just catching up with myself.

What amazing colours those threads are Jo, I have a feeling it’s going to be dangerous for your bank balance with her living so close, Lol.
Your picture of the cows has reminded me of a holiday I had in the Lake District a few years back. As we were out on a walk we were watching the farmer and his dog bringing down the sheep. By the time we got back to the village they were back too and we found ourselves in this narrow little lane with hundreds of sheep heading our way. We have to hurry along and find a bank to stand on out of their way for fear of being trampled.

Thanks for stopping by this week.

Happy Crafting!
