Happy Christmas! WOYWW

Happy Christmas everyone - I hope you all have a lovely time and can be with the ones you love.

This is Maxine's little felted Christmas card - so typical of her Tilly Tea Dance tiny sheepy landscapes but with a bright shiny star above in the purple sky. I love it.

Below are a couple of tree fairies that I made a for a friend's granddaughters.
They are bout 3 inches tall - cute!

And then of course it wouldn't be Twiglet's blog if I didn't share my latest twiddlers.
I thought two Shrewsbury Town Football Club ones might make nice gifts amongst the twelve that I dropped at the hospital this week.

So, that's me for this week.

All the very best to everyone who drops in to see what I have been up to this week.
Thanks for all the WOYWW fun and friendship. Long may it last.
Stay well and stay safe.

Happy Christmas!
xx Jo

  3. Oh I do like the little fairies, they’re really cute and so pretty as is Tilly’s Christmassy sheep! The STFC twiddlers are fab too, they’ll sheer someone up and remind them of good days.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas with the family, having both boys home is my best present.

  4. Ooh I love the little felted sheep card, it's beautiful and so are the fairies - aren't they just adorable - I used to have a perm like that in the eighties! I reckon those twiddlers will go down a storm and spark recognition in any Shrewsbury Town FC fan - the colours are so very distinctive - it always amazed me the sort of things that could spark recognition in my dear mum even when she was a long way down the Alzheimers road.
I hope you have a happy and peaceful Christmas and stay safe and well,
    Diana xx #12

  13. That X-mas 'card' is the most beautiful one I've seen, and your fairies are so cute that I almost wish I had a christmas tree so I could try and make me those and hang them in the tree... (don't feel sorry for me for not having a tree, I never do - I have white christmas branches with little lights in it.) I wish you and all your loved ones Merry Christmas and a wonderful, healthy and creative New Year! Love from Holland, Marit #14

  14. I love the card you made for me, thank you. You’re quite right about Maxine’s card, not far off brand but far enough to be different and visually stunning. Am delighted by the twiddlers, their obvious association to something likely to be in the memory of a local dementia patient makes them another big old score! (See what i did there?!!)
Happy Christmas, wouldnt it be lovely if we could get to a point in next year where we can start planning a reunion.
