WOYWW

Good morning all - thank you for dropping by to visit my craft room!
It's in a sorry state - I have just taken two quick snaps of the chaos before I tidy it ready for Maxine to arrive.
She is preparing and finishing pictures for her craft fair on Saturday.
I am entertaing Ben or vice versa I am never quite sure!!

So what is there for you all to snoop?

Well as you see I have two main craft areas - a table and an ironing boad!!
Why is it, when I have a perfectly adequate table, I need to use my ironing board for things other than ironing?!!
Anyway - here they are - snoop for as long as you like - ask questions or just leave a comment - nothing too rude please! I am going to tidy up in the next hour - honest!

Sending love and good wishes to all our friends around the globe.

x Jo

  1. I have never understood the need for an ironing board. It is the perfect height to craft on, why would you waste it on ironing?
Your desk looks busy and happy, a wonderful combination.
    Happy WOYWW!

  2. When I work I spread myself onto every flat surface and then spend a lot of time looking for things I've just put down. I see there are 2 sewing machines - one ready for Maxine? have a great week x Jackie 14

  4. Oh, you're in good company - there are always things apart from ironing stacked on my ironing board. It's just too convenient a surface to ignore! I get on well with small kids too, always have done, I think they recognise a kindred spirit in me!! Plus a slightly anarchic personally always appeals to them too......

  7. You're still not coming up in my side bar so only just found you. Another day of being entertained by Ben....I wondered why you were so quiet lol. Where would we be without our ironing boards?....with or without their protective covers lol.
    Have a fun say.
    Hugs,

  8. In my room, any horizontal surface is fair game. The exception is the floor, it must be placed in a basket or box if going to the floor as the animals would mess it up otherwise. Happy Wednesday! LisaDV #28

  9. Oh yes those ironing boards can fill in, in a lot of places.I have a huge old wooden one, I top with lace and use as a server when we entertain in our garage area. Love the little necklace in the corner. Both areas have lovely colors you are working with. Have a fun week, enjoy those visits with Ben, bet he's really growing.

  10. It looks like you have a wonderful lot of crafting going on - maybe some needle felting and embroidery of some kind? Your ironing board looks like another great working space.

    Have a great week

  12. Lots of lovelies on your table this week, I love the little circular embroidery. I am afraid my ironing board goes straight back in the cupboard as soon as it's finished with, as I know it will become a dumping ground!
Have a lovely time with Ben,

  15. We all use the ironing board at some time, even if it isn't to iron - before sewing I like to press the fabric for instance. Then if it gets left up it gets used as an extra table - so you see Jo, yours has the same usage as mine at times.

ps hope you had a good day with your little sunshine (Ben).xx

  19. great looking crafting spaces. Ran across my ironing board in the garage just the other day! Looks like you have been busy again with your mini-works of art. It has been a while since I have posted anything or participated in WOYWW! It has been a year of medical issues. Vickie #43

  20. Hi Jo, I thought I'd been to see you this week and then realised it was Friday smiles when I stopped by! Any how I'm here now, just got back from Doncaster Craft Show. That's a great idea using your ironing board for crafting much more fun than what it's actually meant for Lol! Have a great weekend and happy belated woyww, Angela x 16

  23. Ironing board in our house comes out into the daylight once every three months, a good film to watch and then - voila! - a whole new wardrobe of clothes .... then it disappears again! Love it but I think I prefer your use for it!
    Have a good week
