WOYWW - Happy New Year!

Just a bit late posting today!
I have my little helper here today and his Mum is busy wet felting in my kitchen....

It's a lovely way to create beautiful, original backgrounds for her Tilly Tea Dance art work.
It just takes time and peace and quiet.
So we leave her to it and Ben gets to have fun with Nanny and Grandad.
He has used his magic painting dinosaur book, played with Grandad's model railway, played diggers and dumpers on my coffee table "building site" and is now enjoying 5 minutes of Thomas the Tank Engine on tv.
It's a nice life - I don't know who enjoys it most... Ben or Grandad. Happy days!

Below are the two little shrugs I knitted recently. One tiny one for a new born and one large one for a one year old. I love this little pattern.

So all that leaves for me to do is to wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year!

See you next week!
xx Jo

  1. Happy New Year - may 2018 be a cracker for you and yours! I think it's lovely that you get to see Ben all the time, what wonderful memories you're building up with him. That little cardi pattern is the thing I knit the most, I'm so grateful to you for sending it to me. The yarn in the bigger version is very funky, love it!

  6. Happy New Year Jo. What a lovely knitting pattern - I see why you like it so much - it produces such a wonderful little garment. Well done Grandad!! Enjoy - they don't stay young long... my gorgeous five grandies are now aged from 16 down to 11! Hardly seems any time since I held them at a day old!
    Take care. God bless.
