I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend.
We had good weather for a couple of days so could get out and about into Shrewsbury and our garden.
We watched Max and Ben run the 10k in the park on Saturday, helping to raise funds for the local hospice. They ran together and managed it in under 54 minutes. Awesome!
We also managed a couple of lunches out - always a nice treat. We did think prices have risen quite a lot but that's the norm these days isn't it.
My latest twiddlers are all ready for the hospital.
I am now knitting two more cape pullovers as the first ones looked totally gorgeous on the the two little girls who received them.
This colourway is even brighter.
So that's my show and tell for this week
Have a good week everyone.
xx Jo

Hi Jo, loving the cape pullover, those colours are gorgeous!! Lovely twiddlers as usual too. I have already asked to swap with Annie and yourself, hope that is ok. Have a lovely week, love n hugs Cindy xx #9
ReplyDeleteI think at this rate Jo, I may have to get you to scale up the cape pullover and commission one, I just love them! So useful! We went to a relatively local big house with open to the public garden on a Easter Sunday and said just the mae thing. entrance fee was the same but the prices in the tea shop were definitely higher…it was all lovely and of course we didn’t make any sort of fuss or comment until we were back in the car, but it was noticeable. Choices though, we could have come home and had a cuppa and gone without the fantastic cake!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute cape! Nice bright Spring colours. The Twiddlers look awesome too. Congrats to Ben and Max on their run together! I couldn't run for 54 minutes if you paid me! LOL! Have a great week, Lindart #20
