Good morning all.
We have had yet another busy week and the time is whizzing by.
I helped Maxine set up a lovely display of her work up at The Bog Centre on the Stiperstones. If you are passing by, do call in. Lots of local artists display their work for sale and there are all sorts of interesting items of local historical and geographical information on show. The homemade cakes and drinks make it well worthwhile visiting.
I finished a twiddler for Neet's friend and then set to on another one
I thought I would show you a naked one. LL J prepare yourself for this ..
Then I embellished it with a garden scene and things to twiddle. I went a bit over the top but I was enjoying myself.😄
So that's it for this week.
I hope you are all well and enjoying all the lovely signs of Spring.
x x Jo
That is indeed a beuatiful twiddler you made for Neet's friend Jo (seen on her blog). That display of Max's work is fabulous too. Naked twiddlers - whatever next lol. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteNude Twiddlers eh??! *snigger* That brings a whole new ball game to mind……it would make people laugh, that’s for sure!! I adore all the detail you put into the one for Neet’s friend, it’s wonderful xx. Great display of Max’s work at the Stiperstones centre, we stayed quite close to there a few years back.

One day I will make it to one of Maxine's classes or shows. the display you are sharing with us looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteYes, my Twiddlemit is on display for all to see today - well I had to. Love how you call the one here 'nude' looks as if it has things on to begin with to me, it's all that clever knitting of yours. Of course, the progression with flowers and grass tells a different story.
Thanks and Hugs, ~Neet 2 xx
Your twiddle mitts are quite amazing - this really has the Wow factor, it's beautiful and I love the one you did for Neet's friend too - so clever to incorporate all those memories in to it. Maxine's work is stunning, I'm sure it will fly off the shelves.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week,

I always love Maxine's cretions. Just such a beautiful art. And your twiddlers rank right up there also. Fun colors We have no signs of Spring except cold migrating birds. Winds are terrible today and chance of storms tomorrow. Lots of devastation throughout USA

ReplyDeleteEven naked, your latest twiddler is lovely. With all the extra additions you have dressed it with,it looks amazing.
Maxine's display looks fantastic and I'm sure everything will be sold very quickly. Such talent!
Ha, love that Jan had notice to brace herself for the naked twiddler! It’s beautiful and I’m not entirely sure that you can really go over the top with such things! Have already read about the one you made for Neet to give to her friend, what a great thing it is both for Neet to chat about and her friend to have, thanks to your lovely creative bones. The Tilly display looks great, I expect it works well on both levels for sales as well as workshop promotion, double whammy!
