WOYWW

 Here we are again.......

Back sharing our desks on the eve of another lockdown.

I am thinking positive thoughts and looking to happier times!

So, my masks are festive - well these are child size and cheery enough to brighten the day.

I have also been busy knitting a little baby cardi. It's a nice pattern and I like the little picot edge which the holey pattern at the bottom will make eventually.

Ben and I baked buns for Halloween when he was with me last week.

He loved making the scary faces.

His Mum made him a zombie outfit and made a brilliant job of his face paints.

I think they had a fun weekend.

Well that's it for today.

I still can't link up with Julia so I am hoping Annie will do it for me. I just don't know how to get round the problem.

Have a good week. Keep busy and keep in touch.

xx Jo

  1. Love the masks and little cardy. It's good to keep busy. Lovely buns too....look good enough to eat [if only I could!]. Will pop over and link you up now.

  2. We had to turn off the Web Protect part of BT - G thinks there’s some adverts on Stamping Ground that have upset the security protocols. I have no problem now it’s switched off, I was a bit worried about that but G says it’s only to stop you from going on dodgy sites, so unless you habitually do that, there should be no problem, lol! Love the masks and cards but it was the little buns that made me smile, goodness that took me back to when my boys were small......

  3. Great cupcakes! Your baby sweater is going to be adorable too ~ I'm hearing Christmas music already and was kind of sad at first, but I'm changing my perspective and embracing the joy and the love of the season instead. Which means to say that I love your happy little masks :) Blessings and hope for a short effective lock down in your area ~ Love, Karen M (#?)

  4. Are you on BT - we had the problem as I think LLJ did. Chas turned off the web protect they have installed and it was fine.
Looks as if you and Ben had a lovely time with those buns and `i bet they tasted ever so good, especially the ones with fangs! Ooer, Spooky!
Hope you are staying safe and well Jo - keep smiling - it could be worse (you could live in America awaiting the results)
    Hugs, Neet 5 xx

  5. Hi Jo, From others comments, it seems to be a security thing BT has installed on their routers, but turning it off won't be a problem, they're designed really for households where there may be teens etc who may visit sites that have a lot of malware on them, but they do tend to flag up false positives, as it's doing now. Hope you get it sorted. Love the cup cakes, Ben is so lucky to have family who interact with him in such a positive way, such a joy to see. Stay safe, Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 X

  11. Love that cardi, such a pretty shade and I think picot edges are just the cutest. Reminds me, my granddaughter is growing a little too large for her red cardi I made her with ladybird buttons, I think we'll have to cut the buttons off that one to put on a new one... buttons seem to be SO expensive!
    Take care and stay safe!

  14. Your baby cardigan is adorable, Jo, and what a pretty colour too. I am hopeless at fancy knitting and always go wrong and it looks as if it's been done by a spider in its death throes... I love working in stocking stitch with loads of colours instead! It's so lovely that you and Ben did some baking together. Some of my happiest childhood memories are of baking with Mum and my grandmother, and I had a little pastry set and used to roll out pastry and make little tarts etc. You are making some very precious memories for that little boy!

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  15. I am sorry about the linking issue, I’ve reported it to BT, it’s something to do with their safety protocols and nothing I can do at my end. I’m not a BT customer so don’t really know if I’ve got a chance of getting through to them! Bless Annie for linking, I’d hate to miss you. That said, I’m very late, sorry. ben’s decoration on the buns is fantastic, I bet you had a lovely afternoon doing that. I alone the little cardi, I don’t know what I like more, the border or the colour. Would happily have you scale that one up to fit me. Stay safe, keep well. Xxx
