WOYWW

A little bit more knitty fun to share with you this week.

I made a little crushed raspberry hat with twirly rosebuds on the side - another one for my collection. If no one wants it, I can always donate it to our local charity as I am sure they will be glad of funds just now.

Below are the latest twiddlers all finished for the hospital.
These are the themed ones...

And these are just colourful and fun twiddlers.
Some even have tiny ties on the reverse - cut from the tail end of old ties. One has STFC (Shrewsbury Town Football Club) tag - attached with a white football button.

I think I enjoy creating the themed ones best - it just depends what chunky wool I have at the time.
And finally -I snapped  these wonderful cloud photos on Sunday.

We still only see an occasional aeroplane and the skies do seem to be a lovely clear blue these days.

So that's it for this week.
Thanks for calling by.
Enjoy your week - wear a mask and keep safe!

xx Jo

  2. We live under the main air route between Heathrow and the US so we see a lot of planes usually, nowadays it's rare enough to cause us to stop and comment about it. Glorious clouds, we had similar too, it was a lovely day. Love your twiddlers but the themed ones, especially the seaside, are my favs.
Hope you have a good week, lovely gal x

  4. Oh my goodness I do love love your twiddlers anyway (which sounds rather rude...) but those seaside ones are just beautiful! I'm so intrigued by how you make them because I've never seen anything like them before visiting your blog for the first time a few weeks ago. I wonder if they would be good for us autistic people, especially in the classroom. Absolutely stunning anyway. Cut hat too - I would definitely wear that. Have a fabulous week, Lisa-Jane #2

  8. What gorgeous background papers those sky photos would make. Beautiful movement in them, striking!
So are your twiddlers. I love the themed ones you make - so lovely to look at them and I can imagine what pleasure they give to the receivers and what joy to go walking in the mind whilst exploring them. Must help an awful lot with language. But saying that the colourful ones are lovely too and i loved the idea of the ties on the back and the football club tag. You do think up some wonderful ideas.
Not forgotten that the raspberry hat is gorgeous, what a fabulous colour and the rosebuds on the side will delight some little girl. Can just imagine her with long blonde curls cascading from underneath.
    Hugs, Neet 4 xx

  12. Hi Jo
Those twiddlers are fabulous, you are clever. Can you send the blue skies over the border please, I’m sick of grey ones and the rain.
    Take care.

  15. Hi Jo!
Your hat is so cute - even I would want one like that - your twiddlers are so amazing, colorful, interesting but what are they for? I haven't been posting much so I see new things and just have to ask!
Ah the clouds - the English sky does have amazing clouds - I am never tired of gazing at them - sometimes I sit in the garden and I am in awe!
    Have a lovely week!
    Love and hugs,

  16. I love your twiddlers, Jo! They are so pretty and all different too. I am sure they are very much appreciated. What gorgeous skyscapes you've shared with us this week, too. I used to take a lot of photos of skies and love them.

Sorry to be so long visiting. All my spare moments have been taken up working on my needle books. I'm finding the cross stitch absolutely addictive and can't put it down!

    Happy belated WOYWW,
