WOYWW

Look at the gorgeous colours of this random dyed felt that arrived in the post today.
Tilly uses it for her little sheep brooches and she will be thrilled that we have new stock.
Also, it's a little job that I can do for her - I will cut out the circles and backing pieces ready for her to add the tiny embroidered flowers and needle felted sheep.
This is me and my positive thinking - let's hope she still has a business when life returns to normal.

I have been keeping myself busy - this week I have written two little books for Ben.
"Rick the Robot" and "Ben meets a little alien" both have Lego model characters made by his Grandad.
I photographed them getting up to mischief around the garden. The text is just about at Ben's level so that he can read them himself. All good fun!

I hope you are all keeping safe, well and busy.
Our WOYWW buddies need us more than ever at the moment - we seem to share all the things we love, funnies to make us smile and happy moments. How grateful we are to Julia for managing to keep us up and running for nearly 11years! We will not be defeated!!

Take care all and keep safe.

xx Jo

I'm sure Max's business will survive this, so many people want to do workshops with her, and the results of her crafting are so beautiful, make really unique gifts. 12. Hello Jo, I visited Tilly's page. Her work is lovely. I have not seen random dyed felt before. I still have a Jacob's fleece which I bought a few years ago when I was going to do spinning, but sadly that idea went by the wayside, my shoulders just are not up to it. Do you think fleece goes "off"? Stay safe x Angela # 22

  13. You are right Twiggers, it’ll take more than a stinky virus to defeat us! How amazing are you to be writing books for Ben, he must be so chuffed! What a great idea. The felt colours make me swoon, I think you and Tilley are quite right to be focussing forward - it’s been incredibly hard work and time rich, but I think that investment will pay off and TTD will come through. Willing her to!

  14. What cute is your idea of little books. Oh LEGO's one of my all time favorite for kids and my shopping days were many for my sons. It was a good week, we had 2 days of SUNSHINE and walking was most enjoyable. I've a lot to catch up on today, with projects to get mailed. So time flies by here in the country. I've only been out once almost 4 wks. Enjoy each day, blessings to you and yours and Stay Safe. #28

  17. Jo you are a fabulous Nanny how lovely to take extra special time to create those fab stories & lego models from Mr Jo you've really warmed my heart with this today. Just like when I received my sweet little frame from Max last weekend, even more beautiful up close there will definitely be a place for Max's business when these awful times come to an end. 19. Oooh, how clever is that, writing children's books! Love the little Lego character. Your felting is just gorgeous, Jo, and the new background felt is stunning. I so agree with your sentiments about WOYWW. Everybody is being so lovely and positive, sharing lots of gorgeous pictures, not just of what they are making, but of their walks in the country, and lots of funnies too. Together we will get through it.

Keep smiling, keep safe and well, and happy WOYWW,

  20. Hi Jo, I'm sure Ben will love his books. My grandsons are lego mad, and encouraging their cousin, my granddaughter to be the same. I might keep your brilliant idea in mind, if they stay off school for an extended period. David's other passions is reading, so a book about a lego character ticks all the boxes. Have a lovely week and stay safe, Heather xx #33
