At last, a spare minute to pop my WOYWW post up for you all to see.
I have been busy looking after Ben - well, playing in the garden on a crisp sunny afternoon would be a better description!
My table has the results of my knitting marathon over the last few days.
Two little fancy shrugs for my great nieces' dolls and a Katie Morag aran sweater.
I am knitting a couple of these little sweaters to go on ebay for World Book Day.
If I can find some suitable tartan fabric I will make a couple of Katie Morag kilts to go with them.
Lots of little folk love these little outfits so I hope I find time to do it.
Oh and just peeking out is a tiny Tilly Tea Dance embroidery that has been left behind on my work desk. It's pretty - I wonder what she is going to do with it!!
That's it for this week.
Hope you are all well.
xx Jo
Oh I love those little shrugs Jo as I’m sure the girls will too. Thanks for that.

Such prettiness on your desk Jo. The shrugs are so lovely. Thanks for popping by. Anne x #14
ReplyDeleteSuch patience Jo in knitting those tiny shrugs. We once had Mari Hedderwick at school to talk about how the KM books came about. I was her driver for the day and she was very entertaining as we drove from one school to another. Don’t have any suitable tartan in the stash at the moment or I would have sent it to you. Catriona
ReplyDeleteWhat could possibly be better than playing with Ben in the garden on a crisp sunny afternoon. Brilliant!

What gorgeous knitting! The little jumper is lovely and the shrugs are so sweet. Have a good creative week and happy woyww, Angela x13x
ReplyDelete*Sings* "I know her so well"......... :-D
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your support and lovely comments through the year, it means a lot and you do make me laugh! Those little shrugs are gorgeous and the Katie Morag jumper should be snapped up online. World Book day has a lot to answer for - I remember one piece of mottled browny-green velour in particular, it made cloaks for all sorts of characters for my two boys. Happy Days, it's still in my fabric boxes, can't let that one go!

Jo, I love, love that little sweater! Such a beautiful gift to have to be able to knit like that! My daughter would have been in love with you back in the day with all the "dollie outfits!" She was serious about her dolls! LOL Love that felting as well, she's so talented! Blessings for your 2018 and have a great rest of the week! :) Felicia #26
ReplyDeletewow ... fancy little shrugs indeed....soooo cute....
ReplyDeleteYou are a boon to parents everywhere with that Katie Morag sweater. Do you do adult sizes lol? We teachers have to dress up every year too! I reckon you could make a fortune with something a bit different for staff. Have a great week. Sarah #12
ReplyDeleteSorry I’m late. Those teeny shrugs are adorable! I thought they were slippers tucked into each other at first! How well dressed are those little dollies. I’m not overly familiar with Katie Morag, but am pretty sure you could make an eBay living with your wardrobe skills!!
ReplyDeleteVery cute sweater and doll shrugs - always brings me back to my knitting days, but one can only do so much, right? Maybe in the future I will pick it up again! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #31
