Good morning all - welcome to my offering for WOYWW today!
As you can see, the old knitting needles have been busy twiddlemuffing. I was given lots of lovely wool, so I decided to use it for a few more of these little mitts - they will be going to the local hospital for use with patients who have dementia.
AND this is is going to be one of six little patches in the centre of a cot quilt. It is my first attempt at this sort of patchwork and I am really quite pleased with it. I am not usually very good at cutting and sewing accurately so it was quite a challenge for me. I hope I can manage five more without losing my patience!
Well that's it for today.
I am having fun playing with Ben today.
Have a great week.

Friday smile
These pretty pink hyacinths certainly make me smile.
I love their waxy pink petals and their delicate fragrance.
I know Annie isn't keen because of the smell but, when there is snow on the ground and howling gales, they really do remind us that Spring is just around the corner!
Join in with Annie's Friday smile over at "A stitch in time".
Keep cosy and safe.

WOYWW
Just a quickie today as I am looking after Ben - he is playing with Grandad's model railway at the moment!
Firstly my pretty fabric that I will make into a little cot quilt. It will match the puffy play mat that I made before Christmas. I am not really a quilter but my friend Jacquie is brilliant at it, so I may well ask her for a suitable - simple design!
I found nice spotty buttons for the little cardi I showed you last week. This week's cardi is in soft pink 4 ply and I love the little picot edge.
Now I am busy with a few more twiddle muffs so I will show you those next week.
Have a great week everyone.

WOYWW
Happy New Year everyone!
Let's hope 2017 is a healthy and happy year for all.
I am a bit late posting this as I have been out on the building site discussing diggers, dumpers, fork lifts and tipper lorries with Ben. What fun hey!
I have been trying to mount a few needle-felted sheep pics for Tilly Tea Dance. She is now re-stocking after a fab pre-Christmas rush.
Also on my ironing board (used for crafty activity - hence the mess) are three of the books I was given for Christmas. Gervase Phinn was one of my Advisors when I taught in North Yorkshire so I always enjoy reading his latest books. The other two will amuse me too no doubt.
AND this is my latest little knittie - just waiting for me to sort out some pretty little buttons. I have boxes and jars full but I bet I can't find five suitable ones to match!
Short and sweet today.
I hope you are all well and looking forward to a busy and exciting WOYWW New Year.
