WOYWW

Good morning all!!
I am back!
We had a few days in Yorkshire last week so my there was very little going on in my craft room.
This week I am back in the swing of things with some pre - Christmas crafty activity - well it is October so I think I can mention the C word now don't you?!

My table is loaded with hot-washed wooly items which I am going to use to make some little Christmas hearts. You might be able to spot one tucked in amongst the woolly loveliness there somewhere. The pretty ribbons are from The Works.

AND then....

I have been knitting Christmas pudding covers for Chocolate Oranges - well what else do you do in the spare hour or two when you chill out in front of the television?
They are for a local charity to sell at their Christmas fair.
They knit up quickly but the leaves and berries are a bit fiddly - I managed to make ten to send so far.

Well that's it for this week.
Ben and Maxine will be round later so I will have a busy day - yipee!

Just to say too.. hello to Neet - I met her for the first time at Annie's last week and she is a lovely lady!
I hope you are feeling better Neet, and that fresh sea air did you good!

Have a great week - join us in the Stamping Ground blog hop with the lovely Julia - see you at your WOYWW desk later.

x Jo

  1. Oh they may be fiddly, but those Christmas puddings look grand, what a fab idea, even the old tangerine in the stocking tradition could be brightened up by this! Have a fun day with your lovelies. X

  3. Hi Jo. LOVE those Chocolate orange covers!!! But then, I love Chocolate oranges (ahem). Those Christmas puddings really are great - and yes, I can imagine how fiddly the berries and leaves are. I make Jean Greenhowe patterns - and some of those have VERY fiddly bits on them - but they do finish them off so wonderfully.
I totally agree - Neet is lovely. She came over last Friday and met up with Mrs D and myself. Great fun.
    Take care. God bless.

  12. Fun things you are creating. Love the wools you are using for the hearts. I am so happy to be back this week. Things are really falling into place once again. Our fall has some beautiful colors and warm temps. I was able to go out this morning and clean the garage, windows and free up around the house of leaves and twigs. So happy there were NO bugs. Peeped about for catch up reasons and Love your pretty colors in your birthday bouquets. Have a fun week

  14. Love the little wooly hearts. I've always wanted to dry felting wool sweaters in the washing machine. It sounds like that's what you did. And, the results are great. Oh, and the little puddings are just adorable!!
