WOYWW

I am quickly writing the text for this post on Tuesday 31st May.
I am waiting for Ben to come to play and thought I would do this little task while I wait.

Firstly, I know we are all thinking of Julia and we can only imagine what her life has been like for the last few months. So, our very best wishes go out to Julia, her family and  friends. Here's hoping all goes well and she can make a speedy recovery. I know she will be in the thoughts and prayers of a lot of folk this week.

I took my crafty activity out onto my patio table for a photo in the sunshine.
Don't they all look bright and beautiful - a dozen twiddle muffs waiting to be delivered to Shrewsbury hospital. I have lost count of how many I have made but think it must be about 40 now. I was going to stop but I am afraid I am addicted - totally hooked! If anyone knows a cure - let me know, or better still send me some more chunky wool oddments to feed my habit!!!

Now I have to thank all you lovely folk who have sent ATCs to Annie and me.
I will take photos next week when Annie has seen them all as I think there is still a bit of passing over to be done. It has been fun creating our mini works of art and sending them round the globe. It brings home to us just how important our little online crafty group has become. Again, all due to a fun lady who could see the value of like minds joining together, around the globe, for a bit of harmless fun! God Bless her!
Ok - so if you want to join in the fun, you need to pop over to Lunch Lady Jan's Fabric Frenzy. She is making a great job of looking after Mr Linky! Thanks Jan.

Have a great week.

x Jo

  4. A big thank you Jo for my card, it was a lovely surprise. It's sitting proudly on the display unit in my workroom.
Every time you mention twiddle it makes my fingers start twiddling, isn't that odd. Maybe it's a bit like yawning when one does it we all do it haha.
    Have a lovely week

  6. What a great pic of your muffs..........

Anyway, moving on swiftly! I dunno, Mr Linky seems to be having a strop as some more peeps can't link up today. I'm following Julia's instructions but it's been different every week so far. Ah well, I can link people up if they let me know. It's a steep learning curve, I tell you and makes me realise what JUlia does in the background every week - she deserves a medal!!

  7. Hi Jo, I love those twiddle muffs, what a great idea they are and they look fab too. I had an addiction to knitting jumpers for chickens a few years back - they're for ex-battery hens until their feathers grow back - and I used to take great care over chossing colour combos, like the chickens would care! Thanks again for the beautiful ATC you sent, I love it :o) Annie C #26

  12. Your twiddle muffs are lovely! They must be helping so many people and I just wish we had thought of the idea when my mum had Alzheimers. Also, I wonder why I can always see Jan giving a snigger when she comments on them!!
