WOYWW

Well folks - where did last week go?!!
Here we are on our WOYWW show and tell day, again.
Well not really a lot to show and tell!
I had a busy week with outings and visits but my desk didn't see much action, other than Tilly Tea Dance finishing off her pictures to deliver round the county.

So here is a quick look at my new storage arrangements in my room - still not fully sorted but beginning to look more like it......

Maxine needle felted the little flowers below.
She doesn't like it and says she is going to pull it apart and start again, but I think it is pretty and would be fine once she has added detail - what do you think?

AND here is the little hedgehog bread bun I baked for Ben yesterday.....

I think someone has nibbled his nose.

Well that's it for this week.
I am on duty for curtain shortening at Annie's this morning and then I think my room is being used for dumfing fun!

Have a great week all.

x Jo

  4. I fancy that hedgehog myself - go nicely with my coffee now. I like the little flowers - just need to be mounted sympathetically ;) Not more curtain shortening - my mate had curtains to the floor and no one noticed she hadn't hemmed them for months - Life's too short when there are more fun things to do. have fun x Jackie #17

  5. I'm presuming you are referring to the b....dy curtains Annie is talking about haha
Ben's hedgehog bread is to nice to eat and the felt is to nice to pull apart.
Have a look at the b....dy curtains over at my place earlier this week
    Have a good week

  8. I love your storage, those splashes of red make it so stylish. The little needle felted flowers are really prettyand look good enough to frame as they are, but I know what it's like when something doesn't feel right and no matter what anyone else says it just isn't working for you! Cute little Hedgie too - too good to eat!
Hope you have a great week,

  9. Hi Twiglet, loving your room. I see lots of IKEA expedits, and their doors. I was shocked to discover that they have stopped doing the drawers and doors for the replacement they've brought out for the Expedit. I think the needle felting looks just fine, as you say, when it has more detail it will look entirely different. Have a great week, hugs, Shaz #9 xx

  14. The hedgehog bread is so cute. I don't envy you the curtain shortening. I think, on reflection, I'd rather complete my tax return!

  16. I love that you went to the trouble of a separate, shaped bread roll for Ben, and I too think Maxine is wrong about the sun fling picture! Love your strange, that really looks nice - and tidy!

  17. I am in awe of people who can store their crafty stash neatly... perhaps I need to have an open house to let people come help! Have a great week. Helen #1

  18. Your space looks both cute and well organized.
I LIKE the needle felting you've shared here. I have to agree with you that it needs a few spots of color (details) but is otherwise very pretty.
And who could ever eat such a charming hedgehog??? Such a cute idea for a bun. Shades of Miss Potter!

  20. One day I'm going to learn how to felt. I love the view from your window, how lucky you are! I don't think I would get anything done ever looking at that beautiful view. Your little hedgehog is super cute and creative!
    Happy creative week to you!
