Friday smile

Good morning all.
A splash of colour to start the weekend for you!
My beautiful hyacinths that Ben gave me for Mother's day are now opening out
and and the perfume is wonderful!
I thought I would share them with you.

 AND...
This was the view of sunset from my lounge window.
Stunning isn't it.

That's it - just a quick but colourful Friday smile for you.
Have a great weekend.

x Jo

  2. I love hyacinth but find the perfume overpowering, like lilies. It's such a gorgeous colour though, just like your sunset Jo. Very restful post.
    Have a lovely weekend

  5. Lucky you to have hyacinths. I do love them. In fact my friend bought me a wooden box with 9 bulbs in there for Christmas. They flowered just in time and the smell was awesome over the holiday.
Lovely sunset too. I was lucky enough to follow a beauty all the way home from Worcester on Sunday. It was stunning!
    Hugs

  6. Two beautiful smiles this week. Right from when I was little and growing hyacinths in a clear glass vase so you could see all the roots, I have always loved them, and grew them each year. I don't think I have seen any in Spain. I remember their scent too. Beautiful. And of course, you will always get my attention with a sunset! Kate x
