WOYWW

Just a bit late with my WOYWW post today.
I have sewing buddies coming for lunch and a bit of free motion machine embroidery.
My work table is all neat and tidy and ready to go and lunch is all sorted

It's a lovely sunny day and the building site is busy - lots of men in shorts - what more can these girls ask for!

So it's a short sweet post from me today.
Just thought I would post a picture of my latest little knittie now that its finished.

Did you see the meteor shower last night? - I saw a few "shooting stars" - but the sky is very light here in town - nothing like the big black skies at my old house where we didn't have any street lights.

I hope you all have a great week.
Don't get too wet in the rain predicted for tommorrow.
Thanks for calling by.
x Jo

  3. Hi Twiglet, I had a look last night, but was way too cloudy up here. Hoping for better luck tonight, especially as at the moment the sky is lovely and clear! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #14 xxx

  4. That's a very sharp looking little cardigan! Knitting is one of the few crafty things I've never tried, but truly admire those that can. Happy WOYWW! #43

  9. Actually Jo, you were a bit of a spoil-sport with the blog. Why did we blog-ladies not get a view of the builders too?
Joking apart, love the way you have set it all out and the cardigan is lovely. He is such a lucky boy having talented family around him.

  12. A gorgeous little jacket - I love the shaded wool you used. Unfortunately it was way too cloudy to see the meteor showers last night - such a shame, but perhaps next year! Hope you have a great week,

  14. Oh dear.. now that you mention it: I totally forgot to go outside to see the meteor shower last night. I get another chance tonight (so the tv says...) and hope to see at last one shooting start too! (I do have more wishes, but one shooting start to wish on would make me happy too!) Happy woyww and a warm hug (it's hot and humid in the Netherlands at the moment!) from Holland, Marit #36

  15. You are lucky to get to see those meteors. No chance here. As Shaz says, too cloudy and far too much orange light pollution. Hope your building work is going well. Thank you for your visit and lovely comments. It is a very addictive craft. Have a good week. xxx Maggie

  16. Hi, Jo, the sweater you knitted is just beautiful. I hope you had fun with your friends and the embroidery session. I had intended to get out of bed in the middle of the night, if I awoke, to go look at the Perseids, but I was just too sleepy and comfortable. Ah, well. Thanks for your visit and happy WOYWW! ~ Laura #48

  17. No I didn't see the meteor shower! Missed it!
The sweater is gorgeous. And I love those buttons.
Thanks for visiting me earlier this week. Yes, I learnt soon after posting that they were goats and not sheep! Well, I am a city girl at heart and never too old to learn.
Sorry I'm so late in commenting, but we have been away for a few days.
    Have a good week,
