WOYWW - so many lovely ATCs

Yes - just look at them all!
Each made with such care, expressing a little bit about each crafter who made them.
Some came with pretty envelopes, some with cards and tags and of course Annie's came with a clever little poem too. It summed up exactly what our WOYWW link ups mean to us. Clever Annie!

My photo collage doesn't do them justice but I really love receiving them and now need to make a little album to pop them into - I made a lovely white lace/embroidered crazy quilt covered book last year so I must think of something just as lovely for this year's ATCs.

Thank you to all our brilliant WOYWWer buddies who sent them. I hope you have all received one from me in return by now.

Below is the latest bit of crafty activity - hot off the work desk.
I am making a few Hungry Caterpillar items for Ben and this is my yo yo puff caterpillar.
We all love Eric Carle's book don't we.
Yo yo puffs are an easy way to create a caterpillar and a great way to use up plate-sized scraps from my stash.

Short and sweet this week - must show you my actual desk next week!
Have a great week.
x Jo

  4. Thank you for my lovely atc.
I remember having a clown with arms & legs made the same way as the caterpillar when I was a child . I think I would have proffered to have had a caterpillar.

  7. Thanks for sharing the lovely ATC's ...it was so fun to see the variey. And I too loved Annie's little poem. She's Clever like that. What a cute little caterpillar and I like making yo yo's have a box when we travel to keep me busy if I'm bored. Weather related but I'm shutting down. thunder, lightening and now rain....guess our 1 day of Bliss was yesterday. #39 Wishing you a happy WOYWW and a fun week.

  8. Nice to see what was in YOUR package. Looks like you got one of Voodoo Vixen's too. I'm anxiously awaiting mine and the one I get from my PIF partner.

Read that you helped that MUCH YOUNGER sister with her curtains. You are a jewel!

    Happy WOYWW from # 5.

  9. Holy cow. Forgot to mention the caterpillar. I've made ONE yo yo in my life, so I applaud you. Of course, you are adapt at hand sewing and I am truly unable to hold a needle. I have no pinch grip. So of course, needless to say, that caterpillar is truly adorable.

  10. Love your hungry caterpillar, Jo, he really made me smile. That book used to be a firm fav in this house many moons ago.
Thank you so much for your beautiful ATC, I love it and intend to have a go at dumfying very soon. I did a felting course last year and have lots of supplies. You have really inspired me.

  15. Hi Jo,
Thanks for your gorgeous ATC! It is so clever :) I know you call it dumfing (?) but is that the same as "felting"? (Cos I can do that.)
Glad to see you have one of my ATCs. What a lovely collection!
I am not such a good older sister as you. My (younger) sister wants me to help her make curtains (lots of them), but I keep resisting :(

  19. Oh my goodness, you got a lot of ATC's and the one is lovelier than the other! I am so bummed I missed last weeks celebrations. Actually, I missed about 4 months worth of visits and cheering up! I only realised how much I missed all of you now that I am slowly making the rounds.
    Love that caterpillar.
