WOYWW - well stuffed drawers

Good morning and welcome to Twiglet's WOYWW - Pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground and join in the crafty blog hop - you never know what you might see or find out from these crafty folk and you may even find a new friend or two!!
Today I thought I would show you my little knitty makes.....

A little knitted hoodie for my friend's grandson.
It's my favourite Sirdar Baby Crofter.
I love the shades of blue/turquoise.

And this little "In threes cardi" is knitted in some left over wool from when I made the same one for Lexi.
I will donate this one to a good cause.
Some little girl will be pleased to get it I think.
AND my crochet hexagons which I have parcelled up for LLJ to send to the charity collection mentioned on her blog here last week. Pretty colours - they were left over from a little blanket I made for Annie's grand children several years ago. Like many of my left overs they tend to sit waiitng patiently in a cupboard until someone can use them. I never waste anything!!

Lastly just my table from a different angle with a few more of my makes, machines and little crafter's storage pots Maxine gave me for Christmas. (Just don't look at my well stuffed drawers!!!!)
He he - yes I will be going on a post Christmas diet!

Have a great week and thanks for calling by and leaving lovely messages.
You are a fab bunch!

x Jo

PS If you remember all those little dresses we made for the "Dress a girl around the world" scheme, then follow this link and see the amazing total Louise has reached so far!!!

  3. Wow, look at those hexies!! They are fab, much more complex than the ones I've done - I thought you said you weren't any good at crochet! Funnily enough they tone with the ones I've done so hopefully the charity will be able to create nearly a whole blanket, yay!!
And that little Cardi is gorgeous, so pretty...I'm sure it will be snapped up by a grateful little girl :-)
As for your well stuffed drawers...well, lucky you, say I!!!!!!
    Hugs, LLJ xxxx

  11. Lovely work, Jo. And why two sewing machines. I am presuming that they do different job. I treated myself to a new machine just before Christmas, but it has not got out of the box yet. Yet another task to work through. Hope you have a good week with all you have to do. xx Maggie #24

  19. I thought when I clicked on your link that I would see some more lovely rag-dolls, but instead there is some beautiful knitting. You are a busy bee! The blue is such a lovely colour, and the pink one will delight a little girl somewhere I know. I have just read about the hexagons on LLJ's blog, but of course mine go to my Knit for Africa project. It is good to see so many folk being helped isn't it? Have a great week. Kate x #58

  21. I stopped by Annie's before Julia posted this morning, but fell asleep not long after I linked up. Thanks for visiting while I slept.

Those drawers look like they really DO need to go on a diet. But I can only imagine all the beauty that can be found in them.

BTW, I wanted to tell you I saw your card to Julia on her blog. I have a thing for trees, and I thought your tree was FANTABULOUS. Felting and sewing and card making, oh my!!

    Happy WOYWW from #5.
