Friday Smile

Yummy!
A bagful of plums!

I popped down to Annie’s for coffee today and this is what she gave me.
So, plum crumble and plum jam making for me this afternoon I think.

Thanks Annie (of course I did a little sewing job for her in return!)

Have a great weekend

  2. Wow! How lucky you are to get all those plums. Yesterday I paid, supposedly a bargain price, of £1 for 9 plums and today two have gone off! I'm going out into the country tomorrow to hunt for damsons. The damsons were £2 in Morrisons for a tiny punnet so far too dear for jam making.

  3. I can't believe how expensive plum are in the grocery store.... we used to pick them in our backyards and all of the neighbour's yards too when we were kids... too bad nobody around here has a tree ....I'd be garden raiding ... that's what it was called in my younger days ....
I have a great recipe for a plum loaf... so I will have to break down and buy some eventually... oh, and... better do it before they disappear from the store I guess....

  4. Those look like Victoria's to me. Been scrumping next door's plum tree (Victorias) but sorry, ate them before even thinking of making jam.
Thanks for sharing and making me long for a plum. LOL
Hugs, Neet (in her search for your WOYWW entry) xx
