My hen pheasant has started to incubate her clutch of at least a dozen eggs.
According to my internet research I should have tiny pheasant chicks
running round my front garden 23 days after she started sitting.

ReplyDeleteWe've had a hen bird laying just outside the door...but we also have dog with a keen nose. Dog grabbed bird - fortunately she escaped but minus er tail feathers. I doubt she will be back.....but then pheasants aren't known for their brains are they?
So cool! Feathered babies! :)
