WOYWW - dolly bags!

Good morning all!!
Well today you can enjoy a tidy table with my little scrapbox dollies and the lucky few who have been chosen to go in my new bags.
I decided to use up some of my felted wool jumpers to make little girls' bags with a tiny pocket on the side - just big enough to hold one of my dollies.
The rest of the dollies are waiting patiently in their basket.

Here are some close-ups.

Cute!

I will pop them in our blog shop - Sisters Crafty Creations - if I manage to sell them, I shall buy some nice fleecy fabric to back the quilt I am going to make for the scheme Jo has set up  Lillybo Quilts. A lovely idea and one I am sure Annie and I will enjoy supporting.

Have a good week.
Join in our blog hop with Julia in her Stamping Ground they are such a great bunch.

x Jo

  4. I just adore those little dolls in their cutesy little bags! Great idea.
If you can't get it cheaply, I can send you some fleece if you would like me to. Janet (fairythoughts WOYWer saw the throws ... here's her comment...
(just a quick note about fleecy backing ... I brought a fleece throw in Store 21 today it cost £6 and measured 2.5 x 1.8m so works out much cheaper than buying the fabric, mine was a lovely red colour. I think it will be big enough to make about 4 quilts (it actually measure 2.6 x 2m.) they also has smaller ones for £3. I am sure that other shops like Primark, Matalan etc will also have similar throws or blankets offering good value. )
so you could share one with Annie. I don't want people already kind enough to make them to go to great expense!

    lots of love Jo x

  17. Beautiful idea for the dolly girls! I love the sweaters being repurposed and made into felted bags. Too bad my GD are so young (1-3) or I would buy a couple. Hannah has decided though that she has to taste everything and Teresa is a terror right now! Have fun with your quilts! Thanks for stopping by my desk! Have a great week and thanks for sharing.
