Last week my table was stacked with bits and bobs that I was hoping to craft with later in the week.
Well, I have had a busy time - including a fun day Monday at Annie's.
Here are some of the things I have been busy with.
Firstly the tulip collage that I made for one of my Yorkshire friend's birthday.
I think it will brighten a little space on her kitchen wall don't you?
Next, I used up some of my leather flowers and some of my fabric stash to make these little clutch bags.
I love this simple design. It has a velcro fastening and is lined with pretty fabric and has two little inside pockets.
Then I made a little handbag notebook. It is quilted and beaded with tiny pages secured with brads and a velcro fastening - cute!
And lastly here is the collage I made using last week's blank canvas.
I painted the canvas with a pinky wash and then made my little birthday cake collage to stitch onto it.
I think it would make a pretty birthday gift. What do you think?
I was going to take a pic of my sewing room this morning but its such a mess I decided I couldn't reveal all!!!! A little tidying up needed I think.
So that's my week. Now I shall pop over to see what Julia our blog hopping organiser has been up to.
Join us over at Julia's Stamping Ground. It's great to see what you are all up to and fun to "visit" a few new desks each week.
Thanks for popping in here and for all your kind comments.
x Jo
