WOYWW - beach huts and a quick transformation!

Another week has flown by and here we are all ready to check out the desks of the crafty members of WOYWW. Thanks to the lovely Julia of Stamping Ground fame, we take a weekly look around the craft desks of the world!

My crafty activities have been limited by the need to keep my room tidy ready for estate agents etc.
So, I have finished my little beach huts cot bumper and it is now velcro-ed to the cot sides - and very smart it looks too. Here are a few photos for you. . .


Then, because I wanted a quick fix for a bathroom picture, I did a little bit of refurbishment....

After I had cut and stuck flowers from an old Next T-shirt....


It will do the trick - and actually goes rather well with the new towels and bath mat!

It seems to take me ages to get round desks these days but I get there eventually so I hope you can be patient with me. I really do enjoy seeing what everyone is up to.

    Such a sweet cot bumper - I wonder why we all love beach huts. Perhaps some nostalgia for long-ago holidays, although I don't think I ever saw a beach hut when I was little...

    Buttons have the same fascination for me - all those grand clothes, or even work clothes, that they once fastened.

    Those beach huts are fantastic. Glad to see the completed piece, too.

    That reworked bath picture is super. I was impressed, especially since it was all recycled. Beautiful finished piece, and to think it now fits with the new towels and bath mat.

    You are so clever! What a fab job you did with that picture, it looked amazing. And that cot bumper is fab, I love it :-)
    Thank you for the offer of the buttons but I've already sent for some safety toy eyes....I'm sending them for charity so thought I'd better use some proper stuff.

    Late for Woyww so thought to comment here....wow! To the cot bumper, it's just gorgeous.
    I love the way you redid the picture, what a great idea, it wouldn't have crossed my mind! Good luck with estate agents, I hope either that you're incredibly busy win viewings or that you don't need more than a couple before the deal is done!
