Just a little more knittting....
Good morning all!
Thanks for joining the WOYWW blog hop and for calling in here to see what I have been up to.
I am sorry to say- not much sewing room activity again, this week.
I will get back to it eventually. I seem to have had a few days of "event and activities".
We saw The Railway Man at the cinema and had lunch out last week.
Then my lovely son-in-law treated my daughter and me to tickets for the Strictly Come Dancing show at the Birmingham NIA. A totally brilliant night out and tea at Cafe Rouge!
Along with visitors and a funeral this week, I doubt I will be doing much crafting.
Of course Monday is my day spent with Annie and the twins - much fun and hilarity there each week!!
So, all you see on my table is the wool that I bought to continue a few little knitting projects.
One little cardi is finished and another is on the go.
The Crofter wool is for a little hoodie, I think.
Well, thats it for this week - see you next week.
Thanks for calling by.
Have a good week.
x Jo

Blimey Jo, you must knit at the speed of light! I've never known anyone quite like you for whizzing up yet more delightful little cardis etc!! I love Crofter wool too, that colour way is lovely and will make a super hoodie.
ReplyDeleteHow fab that you got to see Strictly in real life....we're they good? I really liked Abbey and Aljaz and was glad they won. What a happy day out that was for you!

Lovely knitting and fabby colours. Lucky you seeing the Strictly on tour. A wonderful treat.
ReplyDeleteAnne x #58 ( well at the moment , it changed twice last week :-) )
Oooh? Crafting and Strictly, two of my favourite things. Wish I had booked for the tour this year (been to most of them) but I having Lisa Riley as the hot put me off.
ReplyDeleteLovely little cardis and I love that shade of green, so different for a little one.

That wool looks so pretty. I have several projects of that kind on the go at the moment, things I can do in the evenings while watching TV. You are so lucky to get to the Strictly show. sorry to hear that you have to go to a funeral, but I hope the rest of the week makes up for that. xx Maggie #21
ReplyDeleteYour knitting is beautiful, and that yarn is simply yummy! Well, I must say, as a HUGE fan of Dancing With The Stars (here in the U.S.) I was so excited to read that you went to a Strictly Come Dancing event. Wow! Take care, and hugs! Sandy Leigh #80

Hi Jo, I went to a funeral this week too! Sad! He was only 32. A cardiac arrest after a bout of chicken pox! And my mom is in the hospital, so although I paint in the morning, not much crafting for me either!
ReplyDeleteSaw the finished cardi's in the next post. Love the wool.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had quite a week lined up there.
Happy very belated WOYWW!
