Well here we are half way through January already!
I hope you are all managing to keep clear of coughs, colds and the nasty weather.
My table hasn't been used for nearly a week.
I have been busy with little knitting projects but my machines have been idle.
I need to get a creative boost!
I have tried Pinterest but I seem to end up wasting time looking at other folks lovely crafty ideas but not doing any of my own!
Maxine decided she wanted to exhibit her needle felted pictures at the Montgomery Old Bell Museum Gallery so that will be an exciting little project for me to help with this year. I think she will probably be there at the end of July so I will keep you updated - just in case anyone feels the urge to visit the quaint little town of Montgomery.
So ... today you can see some of the little mounted needle felted pictures and a few of my little "dumflings" on the right. The two knitted items are just a tiny shrug and a cardi made from some of my wool left overs. I will probably send them to charity. I had fun with a bit of hand stitching on the pink cardi. I just need to find 3 pink buttons to finish it off.
That's it for today.
Join in with the WOYWW blog hop over at Julia's Stamping Ground.
It's amazing what crafty folks get up to out there!
Have a good week.
x Jo
Love the finished pink cardi with it's flowers on Jo. Some little girl will love that.

Well, I can attest to the gorgeousness of that little pink cardi. It's such a useful pattern and looks so pretty, I like the little flowers very much.
ReplyDeleteHopefully you'll get the inspiration that you want but I wouldn't worry. Relax and enjoy the knitting you've been doing...you're so clever at it. The other stuff will pop up when you're least expecting it.. :-)
Hugs, LLJ 45 xx
I know the dangers of wasting time on Pinterest ... but it is soooo pretty. Love all your needle felted pictures and knitting always gorgeous.

Lovely things on your desk as usual, Jo. I like your little dumflings. By the way, how thick do you make your felting? I am trying to do a piece and wonder if perhaps I haven't made it thick enough before adding hand stitching...
ReplyDeleteHave a great week - and I'm sure any charity would be thrilled with those delightful knitted garments.

ReplyDeleteYou are so talented! Those little sweaters are so cute and sweet. The felted pictures look so nice in their crisp white mats. I'm sure they'll sell well. Thanks for the visit earlier. I'll try to mess up my desk for next week since the tidiness seems to have many in an uproar.
ReplyDeleteAs always your desk is a hive af activity, you seem to get so much done!
ReplyDeleteLove those mounted pictures.
Happy very belated WOYWW!

Love the little knitted cardigan. Can you give me the pattern details please? My late mother-in-law used to knit similar ones for my daughters and now I would like to knit for my granddaughter. Many thanks Freda
