Isn't nature wonderful?
And doesn't she always have little surprises for us now and then.......
My tomatoes are very slow to ripen so we have picked a tress and brought it indoors hoping to speed up the process.
The variety is Gardener's Delight - I can't think why!!!!
OK now back to the serious stuff - here's my table this week for all you WOYWWers who like to pop in to see what I have been up to.
As you will see - it's my usual approach - cover all the cr.. er rubbish, with things I have been making.
- Two gorgeous little waistcoats for a friend of a friend's grandsons. I have made 7 altogether now so I think I have earned the "waistcoat makers" badge, don't you??
- My little dragonfly picture that is now in our blog shop. Annie and I have had fun dumfing these.
- Below is the little hoodie that I finished for Sam. I have also knitted a bolero for Lexi and a shrug for Lou. There is another shrug on the go and I have an order for another bolero so - never a dull moment here!
Thanks to all who popped over to see me last week - what a cheery, friendly bunch you are.
See you soon.
x Jo
Those waistcoats look fab Jo as do all the knitties. I passed them on with your love yesterday and a very tired little mummy, after a difficult day at school, thought they were really gorgeous. Thanks so much.

oh are you so talented! love the vests and the sweater jacket - the colors are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYou should put the tomatos on the window ledge - they need light to get red! Ah the waistcoats are just so cute!
ReplyDeleteLots of hugs,
Cardarian
You have been very busy! The waistcoats and knit are adorable! Always love to see your felted pieces. Sorry did not list this week.
ReplyDeleteI miss tomatoes off the vine. Although that one tomato looks a bit too perky for me. The waistcoats are just precious! I can envision a couple of sweet little boys looking good in them. The hoodie is so sweet! If I could learn another craft, it would be knitting. It is good that I don't know it as I can barely afford one craft right now.
ReplyDeletehaving the same trouble with our tomatoes this year, your waistcoats are so cute :)

Waistcoats and a wonderful hoodie - you clever girl. But what made me laugh out loud and almost spit coffee over the screen was that tomato :) I didn't know what was going on ( Dumbo here) until I took another look :)) Ooooooer :)

I pop my un ripened tomatoes into egg cartons to ripen... And they do!
ReplyDeleteYou have really become expert at those teeny waistcoats and your hoody is lovely... I love the random mix of the yarn and the minty colour is gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteI am full of admiration for those waistcoats, they're so neat and I'm rubbish at buttonholes! What a confession to make....
Hugs, LLJ #59 xx
You have been so busy. I had a real look back at some of your earlier posts, and those collages are so beautiful. I am glad to see we are not the only ones with green tomatoes. At least they match the cucumbers which have gone totally nuts - we are picking several each week (makes great cucumber and onion like Mum used to make). Thanks for your visit today and kind comments. Have a lovely week, and I hope you are not in danger of flooding. xx Maggie #100
ReplyDelete...amazing work Jo, you are so talented, those waistcoats are superb, you well deserve your badge! and your knitting is just amazing as always, a superb creative posting for woyww...Melx :)
ReplyDeleteLove the look of those tomatoes Jo! I got about that many for the whole season cause it got so hot and dry here so quick that we were put on watering ration early and everything died! Def qualify for the waistcoat makers badge and they are so cute! I am amazed at how much you two get done. It would take me a couple years to knit one sweater and the babe would have outgrown it by then! Hope you have a great week! Vickie #87
ReplyDeleteThe little hoodie is so cute...and hope you have great luck ripening those tomatoes. Here in Texas our growing season for tomatoes is pretty much over. Delicious when we harvest those home grown delicacies! Thanks for sharing. dix---
ReplyDeleteAdorable hoodie! Wish I had the patient to be a knitter! Thanks for the visit!

Despite all the miserable weather, my tomatoes are actually ripening nicely in the greenhouse, nothing like home grown is there.
ReplyDeleteThose waistcoats are gorgeous.
I didn't realise you lived in Yorkshire before, I have friends at Selby but we are nearer Leeds.
Have a great weekend.

I do envy you your seamstress skills! Mind you, I suppose if I tried smaller projects it would get me more into it. If only there were more hours in a day.... hehehehe
ReplyDeleteLovely knitting - share a picture of the bolero, do!
