WOYWW

 Happy Wednesday everyone!
The sun is shining ( well it was 5 mins ago but looks like rain now!)

If it rains I will be sewing, if the sun shines I am going up onto the hills to pick billberries.
So, here is my table today.

The little lavender shrug was finished yesterday and is now in our blog shop gifts section. They have proved very popular so I thought I would pop one in the shop.

Beside the shrug is a lovely piece of lavender babycord fabric which I am going to use for a little pinafore dress. I took a pattern from one Wipso bought, as it was such a simple design. You can see my funny little sketch.

Below are just a few of the photos that I took at Shrewsbury Flower Show on Friday. It poured with rain all day but that didn't stop us enjoying the wonderful displays of plants and flowers in the big tents.

Righto....
Sewing it is then, as big black clouds have descended on us.

Blog update:
I never got to sew or pick billberries as Wipso and I ended up in hospital with her neighbour!! Long story but we spent the afternoon keeping her company whilst she waited for assessment.
Oh well, tomorrow is another day!!
Hopefully, I will have time to visit lots more WOYWWers today - you are such a lovely bunch - I do enjoy my Wednesday snoop! If you want to join in, then nip over to Julia's blog and check out the 130+ blogggers who share their workdesk every week.

  5. Lovely tidy desk Jo!

I hope the clouds clear so you can get out and go fruit picking too!

The baby cord fabric is gorgeous but it's all of the 'fluff' that comes off a piled fabric that makes me cringe! I end up still finding it for weeks afterwards! lol! yeah I know, I need a NEW dyson maybe! lol!

Hope you have a FAB day Jo!

  12. we had awful black clouds all morning, then at 3pm torrential downour, really rattled the windows. But now it is drying up, and the sky is bright blue with fluffy white cloads, shame it is too late to go anywhere.

I haven't been bilberry picking in years, last time was criky, must be 15 years or more ago.

  20. Oh you are a good friend and of course, fab sister...what would that lovely neighbour do without you. The billberries may not wait, but the pinny will - and I didn't think your sketch was funny...still so impressed that you don't need a pattern! And yep - both of you - come on over, but probably not to clean my stamps...they'll be OK, honest!

  23. Just love hand knits and pinafores for little ones. sadly at 7 my Daughter tells me she is 'too old for baby things'!

Just makes them look individual and innocent unlike current adult fashions which are what the shops sell

    Thanks for sharing
