Spot the mistake!

Well it certainly looks pretty doesn't it?

However, it is slightly wrong in one vital area - can you see the problem?

I must have been going at full speed and didn't notice until I had undone and redone the treble rows!!!
I just couldn't get it to lie flat - lol!

Just in case you don't know what African flowers are supposed to look like, I have popped a photo of the finished blanket below.

Can't spot your mistake but I'm a dunce in the crochet department!

  2. Guess this is one time that one extra doesn't make something better.
I've just begun my African Flowers and I working on 12 at a time. Completing one color on all twelve and then on to the next color.

I am excited to see when I've these finished and joined as I go before starting the next dozen AFs.

  3. Hi Jo - loving that blanket. Thanks for the info, I've just completed my 6th African flower - it took a bit of juggling to work it out and found it much easier looking at one of yours. Have filed the shrug pattern away for the autumn. I have loads of knitting patterns for little girls so if you want anything email me at bee1946@hotmail.com and I'll let you know what I have - my 3 granddaughters are 3 3/4, 3 1/2 and 14months.

  4. That looks so cute, this blanket! Have you put one item too much if it does not lie flat? Great colour mix, too!

  12. I saw there was something wrong and in the general area, but originally thought it was the second row. Finally found it after enlarging the photo.

Stopped by to tell you I have chosen you as my blog of the day tomorrow (June 23). Hope to see you on WOYWW.
