 Good morning all.

These weeks are flying by.

It's a quiet week this week as it's half term here and I am not needed for child minding.

So, I have been working in my sewing room with jobs for Tilly, trouser shortening for a poorly friend and a few more recycled denim items.

Jan suggested a draught excluder....

This one looks good in my lounge. It should have been a few centimetres longer but I measured the door width but forgot that stuffing would take up some of its length. ( LLJ - stop it!)

Then I made a few pencil cases and a little credit card purse.

Lastly, a little lavender heart.

All simple little projects that don't take much time or effort really. Just nice to do and rewarding to see the pile of denim diminishing.😄

Well that's all for this week.

 Another week, another Wednesday.

This week I had a sort out in my sewing room.

I found a big pile of old denim jeans that I had been hoarding. You know how it is. - I could see potential in them but just never got round to doing anything with them.

So, I decided that I would try and make a little something as often as possible until  I had used all the old jeans.

My first attempt was this little zippy purse.

And then, I made a little hang over bin for Ben's desk in his bedroom.

Of course, I still have plenty of jeans left for more little items. I do have to say thanks to Annie who keeps sending me Pinterest ideas but would like to remind her that I said "small items". She sent me a link to denim covered arm chair and a large denim patchwork quilt! 🤣🤣

So that's me for this week.

Apologies for not getting to many desks last week.

I promise I will try harder this week.

 Good morning all.

It's been another busy week but not much time for crafting.

I did buy some new yarn - a pretty, random yarn called Cherish. An appropriate name for my little Friendship hearts.

Of course, as it's random, if I wasn't careful, they wouldn't be matching pairs. So, a little bit of twiddling was needed to get it right .

I think I've got the trick now don't you?

It's a really cold, frosty day today but hopefully we will have more beautiful sunshine. We have had some awesome sunrises and sunsets this week.

Short and sweet today.

I have lots to as we took down Tilly's exhibition yesterday and I have the remaining stock to sort, ready to go out to the next venue

Have a good week.

Well this year is off to a fast start! How did we get to the end of January so quickly? Hubby celebrated his birthday this week and Ben drew him a brilliant portrait picture. He says he is going to be an artist - I think he is one already!......

My trusty machine has been in action this week and I made two little covers for Tilly's baskets.

She takes them to her workshops- with her inspiration packs etc., for sale. I bring them back to re stock for her. So, to stop bits falling out in the boot, as I carry them home, I decided they needed little elasticated covers ...

Job done!

And here is a little rainbow for you...

Have a great week all.

I will look forward to a trip round the desks when I get back from lunch out with our friends.😀

Well it's been another chilly week and here we are again sharing our work desks for all to see.

I have sorted all the woolly yarn and fluff for Tilly's newest workshop. She has been asked to devise a "McFeltie" workshop so I will be making packs with all this lovely stuff.

The original McFeltie resides in Scotland and is about 70 x 50 cms.
Of course, the delegates on Tilly's worship will be making pictures about the size of the card in the photo. I might even sign up to the workshop myself. It would be a fun day, I think.

Below you can see the front and back of my Springtime twiddler. Lots of textures and colour, together with bits and bobs, inside and out, to twiddle.

And then I made another footie twiddler - one for the "reds" this time!

Have a good week all.
