WOYWW

Good morning all. I hope you had a lovely Easter weekend.

Ours ended with family tea here and Ben made my busy day all worthwhile by saying "I love it when we all get together" It just shows the simplest things with love, security and friendship mean more to youngsters than we might think.

At last I've got around to knitting a few more twiddle mitts......

A seaside one with a puffin and a lighthouse. There is a fisherman in a dinghy on the reverse.


Then I fancied making a coral reef. 
They are fun to knit and decorate.

Now I need to get a few more design ideas so that I can make a few more.

Lastly we had another lovely outing to Powis Castle. So, just a few photos to share ...





It was a beautiful day and we all enjoyed a gentle walk and the beautiful blossom, tulips and Clivia.

    What a lovely thing to say Ben, you definitely made your Grandma’s day there! Those twiddlers are works of art Jo, seriously they could be in an exhibition in a gallery somewhere. I adore the puffin and the clown fish, but the whole thing is genius. Beautiful pics from Powis Castle, I really must get back there one of these days.

    I agree Jo, nothing makes me happier than hearing how much my fam enjoy being together. We recently celebrated a neice’s 21st and the four cousins came together and enjoyed each other’s grown up company just as they did when they were all under 10. Makes it all worthwhile. Your twiddlers are amazing, seems to me that you have magic knitting needles!
