Good morning all!
After four days with a foul head cold I can at last say my fuzzy head is better and I am no longer sneezing and snuffling constantly. Colds don't usually bother me much but this one was nasty! But then - as my much younger sister reminded me - I am not getting any younger and therefore don't get over things as quickly!! Thanks nurse Annie. lol
So not much to show and tell.
I have a nice new magazine to enjoy - seems to be lots of little sewing projects and a free crafty mag attached too.
The little patches are for my next little quilt but I need some more fabric to mix and match with it.
Below is the second little cardi knitted with Crofter chunky. This time a tad bigger for Phoebe.
She will love it as it has pink buttons!!
That's it folks.

WOYWW
Last week was a busy one.
We had fun at a stitchy workshop on Wednesday. I crafted with Max on Thursday and helped look after the delightful little twins on Friday. So, I was a bit slow and checking out the WOYWW desks that the lovely Julia linked us up to last week.
Hopefully I will do better this week!!
In spare moments I have been finishing my third Lillybo Quilt.
If you like cats, you might like this one. It has a little bag to carry it in and by the end of the week I hope to have made a little sockdoll cat to pop in the pocket.
My evenings have been spent knitting a chunky cardi for one of my great nieces.
It is in Sirday Chunky Crofter which has knitted up nicely and looks quite funky I think.
Now I need her to try it on and make sure its fits before I knit one for her younger sister.
SEWING MACHINE FOR SALE
Maxine brought this little Toyota 5000 sewing machine over for me to check out at the weekend.
It seemed in good condition and I suggested putting it on ebay for collection only. - maybe £35. If anyone is interested email me. It would probably make quite a good first machine - it's sturdy and has it's original handbook and toolbox with extra feet etc.
OK folks - short and sweet.
Thanks for popping by - have a great week.

Friday Smile
Couldn't resist this one, bearing in mind that one or two of my best blogging buddies have recently unearthed wonderful bits and bobs from their fabric stashes that they had forgotten they had!!!!

WOYWW
Just a quick snap of my table before I start making my next LillyBo quilt.
Top left hand corner - my free machined label made to attach to my quilt.
Top centre - my jar of pearly buttons.
And then a pile of cards that I have finished.
I used lots of little snippets of lace/fabric/vintage embroidery and linen to create tiny collages for these sets of cards.
One set went off to my good friend in Yorkshire as a little birthday gift.
The rest are waiting in my sewing room to show Maxine and then maybe I will pop them in our Sisters Crafty Creations blog shop.
Here are just a few of them!!.........
Click the picture to zoom in!
Hope you are all well and keeping cosy in this chilly weather.
Thanks for calling in - scroll down to my last post if you want more pretty stuff!!

Friday smile
Today's Finished by Friday has very little to show.
I have been making cards but I don't want to show them just yet.
So instead I thought I would just put a couple of pictures up for our Friday Smile.
Annie has a special link for all those who want to add a smile to their Friday post.
Join in with Annie's Friday smile - follow the link here.
My first picture looks as if this cheeky little squirrel is waiting for his breakfast on my patio table while the sun comes up!
(Actually it's the flash on my camera reflecting on the glass door.)
AND...
here is my orchid now that it's in full bloom.
It certainly makes me smile each time I open my kitchen curtains.
(The view across the hills is pretty good too!)

Good morning all!
Tuesday was wild windy snowstorms and sunny spells.
Let's hope Wednesday is a bit better.
To brighten your day here is a pic of my latest quilt and bag.......
Straightforward patchwork isn't really my thing but I just loved doing the little collages of characters from the printed fabric I used down the sides of the quilt.
I even made a little cat to pop in the pocket but forgot to take a pic.
Maybe Jo will show you when she blogs them on her Lillybo Quilts blog later this week.
We have had fun making them and I think we may still have enough fabric for a couple more.
We are keeping a look out for interesting panels - maybe to suit older children.
My table is fairly tidy.
Can you see my little collage/embroidered cards.
I just fancied doing something different and I have a friend's birthday coming up.
I will show them in greater detail next week.
Lastly, Annie had a new little helper on Monday!
This little sock dolly is just helping clean up before she set off to Jo of Jozarty with the pink quilt I made last week ( scroll down to my Friday post if you want a peep). She quickly zapped round Annie's workdesk with the mini Henry and then jumped in the tote bag ready to go in the parcel of Lillybo Quilts. I hope she finds a good home with one of the poorly little children in the Liverpool area.
Ok folks - lets pop over to the lovely Julia's desk and see what she has been doing this week.
Have a great week and thanks for popping in to see me and even becoming a follower in some cases ( I notice I have a few new followers so Hi to you!!)

Finished by Friday and smile!
Fridays seem to come round just as quick as Wednesdays!!
Annie and I worked hard on our quilts and here is my first one finished.
(She is, of course, Wonderwoman and has probably finished her second one by now!)
I bought a metre of pink fabric to trim it up but the rest is all from our fabric stashes.
AND just to complet the project, I made a patchwork bag to hold the quilt.
Bright and cheery isn't it.
It will be going to Jo soon. She has set up the Lillybo Quilts project for poorly children.
So if you fancy having a go making one then just click on this link to Lillybo Quilts and find out all the details.
This adorable tiny bear came scrambling through my postbox last week.
Look at him sitting next to a thimble showing you all just how small he is.
His name is Tanner and he came all by himself by plane from Canada!
He was beautifully hand felted by a very talented lady - Veronica of The Bearister Bookcase
We swapped crafty items and Vee made him specially for me - I love him.
He has been helping me choose colours and patterns for my quilts - he soon realised how indecisive I was and stepped in to make a few BIG decisions - lol!
He certainly puts a smile on my face - I hope he does the same for you.
