WOYWW

Welcome to a quick look at what's on my workdesk today.

Annie gave me some pretty pink wool to knit a little "in threes" cardi. I like to have some knitting on the go. The wool on the right was one of my mad impulse buys.
I was looking at the Caricrafts site (Good value for haberdashery, wool, fabric etc) and I spotted the James Brett "Passion" chunky. I loved the colours and noticed it said there were only 3 balls left - so of course I had to order it!!
Not sure what I will make but it is lovely and soft - I am sure I will find something to do with it.

The box of Anchor embroidery threads was given to me by one of my crafting buddies who spent the day "dumfing" with us the other week. She didn't need them so I have shared them with a few other crafty folk and that is what's left. I love to group them all together like a rainbow!!

Well that's it for this week.

I hope you enjoyed the warm sunny days we had last week.
This week is not so good but Spring is just around the corner!

Have a great week.
Thanks for calling by.

x Jo

For 'only 3 left' you read... 'I need to buy those!' :-) That sounds so like me :-) :-)

A picture full of glorious colour...love it! I know that yarn well, it's gorgeous. Even if you don't use it now, it'll make some lovely infinity cowls for next autumn :-)

ooooh, just look at all the threads.... and, uhm... what is an "in threes" card if I may ask? I have no clue....comes of not being a knitter I guess....

Holy cow. I LOVE that yarn, and I'm not even a knitter. Your choice was right on the money.

Speaking of yarn, I've never owned embroidery floss, so those colors really intrigued me. I can see using them in your dumfer, too. Happy WOYWW from #2.

Thanks for visiting already Jo, you popped in the door before I got the link on. Can see why you couldn't resist the wool, beautiful colour, and lucky you getting all the embroidery threads.

Hi Jo,
I'm really envious of your box of embroidery floss. The colours look so vibrant together and your garden flowers are just as good. There seem to be a lot of early bloomers around this year. I just hope we don't have a late fall of snow.
